Newbie Zolotisty doesn't know English so she stays wide-eyed and still while he tries to reason with her. She snarls when he reaches to touch her shoulder, then scoots down the side of the building.
Newbie Zolotisty DOES understand the way his voice rises in volume, becomes clipped. She flees when he brings out the broom. She's better at running than walking.
