During the Season One cutover, time went sideways. The fallout from the explosion of Improbability mixed timelines; certain things that had already happened on the Island happened again, things that were yet to happen on the Island happened, other universes crossed the Island's. This is one thing that had already happened, replayed on the Island that disappeared before the Season One cutover:


[07/04 05:20pm] A young man comes hurrying into the Outpost. He appears to be in his twenties or perhaps early thirties, and he is wearing fatigues and body armor. There is a medic's patch on his left arm.
[07/04 05:23pm] A pouch on his belt has been turned into a slice of bologna but he doesn't seem to notice. He's carrying a lean black mongrel with a golden belly and paws.
[07/04 05:25pm] “Shh-tch-tch-tch-tch,” he breathes to the animal as he hurries up and over the new railway and past the Cake or Death man's stall. “Quiet, shhsh.” But the dog hasn't moved. In fact..
[07/04 05:25pm] The dog would appear dead.
[07/04 05:27pm] Its throat has been laid open with surgical precision, and made to stay so. There is a hole in its belly that he is anxious he might be able to slip three fingers into. He'll have to hurry.
