It happens, once in a while, that we have players who leave for extended periods of time and choose to either come back for brief periods to post a bit on the island or to check out the enquirer.

But where are these people when they are not around? What happens to them?

I present “Where in the world is…” Do you have a character who takes extended vacations from the island life? Those who hermit themselves away? Where in the world is your character?

…Kittymorph, Esq., spends most of his time hunting and climbing. He's only any good at one of them¹⁾. He ranges far and wide across the Island and the sea, hunting, exploring, climbing, finding truly random items either created or appropriated by the Drive, and falling asleep most often where he sits instead of seeking a building for shelter. He doesn't often see the need(he doesn't mind mud, leeches, tree bark, etc.) There is also a certain amount of abrupt inventing that goes on in these isolated areas; the results of which are usually observed when Harris enters an outpost loudly.

The wine cork sometimes seen on the ground in Improbable Central spends his time in… Improbable Central. Despite the Island's trash-pickers and Contestants with a propensity for chatting up anything, the city has a certain gravitic pull on him. A flood might yield interesting results on his location someday, but for now, he is there to stay.
