A really, really big lie. Even by lying standards, this is a big one. The philosopher Neitzsche is reported to have said something along the lines of, 'That which does not kill you makes you stronger.' But in fact, that which does not kill you just makes you easier for the next foe to kill.1) Victory is a short-lived illusion.2)
