Nut's Life on Improbable Island
Nut has recently fallen from the sky, she is currently trying to figure out how to get back.
No such luck.
The Past of the Goddess of the Sky
Nut1), daughter of Shu2) and Tefnut3), is married to Geb4). From their union, became Osiris, Horus, Seth, Isis, and Nephthys.
She would stay arched over the Earth, her hands and feet touching the four cardinal points5) of the planet.
Her jobs were to separate the forces of chaos from the ordered cosmos in the world, to protect Ra6), and to draw the dead into the sky to refresh them and protect them from evil.
As you can see, she has fallen from the sky and therefore, cannot do her jobs.
Appearance
Nut stands at 5'7 and has smooth black hair, ending halfway down her upper arm.
Her golden tanned skin turns a dark shade of blue at night time and her eyes are a golden colour, flecked with green and lined with kohl.
You will always find, though much easier at night, glowing points of light on her body, warm to the touch.
The brightest points on her toes, fingertips, and running from eye to ear. She wears a tunic made of linen, with a rope, woven from gold, tied around her waist.
