                                          Teatime Troubadours.
                                             A beginning.

It is a clear night a waxing moon over hear and a slight fog on the ground. Ageis the Rogue Trader prowls into Kittania, he sniffs the air and looks around, eyes reflecting the dim light in the clearing. He moves under a tree near the center of the clearing and starts digging through his pack. His friend Sy enters shortly behind him and heads to Cool Springs Cafe to get a bite as Ageis sets up. He pulls out a small box and a dark Orb of unknown material. Het sets these in front of him then pulls out a very fine Violin, a Stradivarius named “Lynne”. He tunes it lovingly and rosins the bow. Sy, back from his meal starts pulling out his lute and tuning it. Ageis greets Sy when he enters then puts the Violin to his chin and flourishes the bow before playing “Zwei Falken”. Sy listens for a moment before joining in, his Lute sounding string and fair in the night. They play. The box enhancing the pure clear notes of “Lynne” and the Lute. The sound of drums can heaard coming from the devic. As they play the Orb comes to life and starts to reflect the color of the Violinist's eyes. Ageis nods to Sy, his friend and fellow musician. Sy smile back, sensing a solemnity in the evening air. Time to play… Ageis closes his eye for a bit, then starts playing “Egil Saga”. The Song echoes starngly in the dark clearing, a haunting ancient melody that seems to have a life of its own. Sy follows the his friends melody, holding the notes for a faint echo, adding to the haunting mood. They play… the Violin blending with Lute, the Orb in front of the tree brightens, sheddinga faint gold light, swirls of color can be seen in it's depths as the music permeates the air. Sy begins to sing, just quiet enough to be heard yet loud enough to echo eerily off the buildings. Ageis follows smoothly, and drums can be heard in the air as the Orb pulses in time to the music. Echoes rebound through the clearing, and the world slowly takes on a surreal fey like cast as the music builds… Ageis's eyes flash open and the mood in the clearing changes, brooding shadows lengthen in the night as they start to play “The Black Unicorn”. Faint almost figures seem to leap just on the edge of sight. Ageis's eyes glow and a faint fey fire shines from Sy's lute.. Sy grins, his voice fading as he darkens his tone to a bass rumble, his albino eyes glowing red in the moonlight. He shifts to “Mordreds Lullaby” growling the words softly, slowly raising his voice to ehco chillingly in the souls of those listening. They play on, the haunting echo's twist and swirl in the night, as fog moves and hugs the ground, the Orb brightens more, nearly ready…

They play on...

With an effort Ageis starts “March of Cambreadth”. With a word the Orb Flashes and the fog stirs, ghostly shapes of warriors form in the night, ghostly voices sing the words as the music releases itself. They cry of battle can be heard throughout the clearing, swords flash and ring on armor and helm. Over all the Music dominates, entrancing, enspelling.

 They play on...

They put their all in to this final rousing song of battle… Sy plays on singing the words with savage joy, the music stirring his warrior's blood, his strumming matching his fervor. Ageis plays on, the music peaks and the spectral army marches out, their battle won. Then the night fades into silence, the Orb lies dark again and Ageis puts down his Violin wearily. Sy holds the last chord to echo after. He then sets his Lute aside.

But this is not the end...
