//**What is Seria?**// Seria is, simply put, a socially awkward book nerd. She's polite, but with a short attention span for small talk or conversation, with the exception of gossip or intellectual exchange (anything that has to do with 'information'). Otherwise, her mind will naturally wander to more '[[https://goo.gl/tXtwCs|intellectual]]' pursuits. This can make her seem rude or inconsiderate (which she can be, from time to time). At her worst, she can be downright condescending and snarky. At her best, she's cheerful, polite, and even a touch bubbly. Separating her from many of the Islands women, Seria believes in modesty and proper dress. She's no stranger to flirting, but most the time, it needs to be outright said to catch her attention. She doesn't believe in 'quick flings' or 'one night stands.' Were she to engage in such activities, though, the quickest way to her heart is flattery, especially anything that makes her feel interesting or special (things she has had difficulty finding in Sultana). Seria has a fixed fascination with anything pertaining to machinery, to the point of complete disregard of the outside world. While she shares the robot's love for information, she's not as calculative about it. To her, engineering is an art, not a science. Despite fascination, she's not a proficient tinkerer. **//Don't let her convince you otherwise.//** Seria can remain cool under pressure, but this only extends to intellectual persuits. Combat and physical punishment will always leave her thoroughly shaken; pride and mannerisms can quickly dissapear under these conditions. Seria, despite her 'combat finesse', isn't totally helpless in a fight. She's been taught basic sword techniques. But proficiency is where it ends, and it'll become quickly apparent when things get heated the extent of her abilities. Seria can be manipulative, and despite her social difficulties, when she sees something she wants, she can usually find a way to get it (after all, she's not socializing, she's pursuing a goal, and she's good at that). Chin tilting and eye lash bashing usually seem to do the trick, whether it be getting someone to carry her things or convincing macho men to take the lead. Seria detests dirt and everything to do with it. Especially if it gets under her fingernails. This seems to pertain (mostly) to actual dirt. She's not nearly as shy about oil and grease (though she'll be quick to clean up after any messy activities). Seria enjoys the finer things in life, just short of being obsessive. Clean clothes, proper baths, soaps and perfumes, fine wines, dancing, proper titles and mannerisms. Her favorite gifts include books, bath related accessories (soap, wine, candles), and anything odd or out of the ordinary (so long as it's nothing gross). Seria is head librarian (the only librarian) of the new sect Disciples. Her duties include record keeping, library maintenance and upkeep, obtaining information concerning quests or adventures, bill receipts and information (for both the **Black Dragon** and //Sultana//). A "glorified secretary" some would say. Because of her duties at Sultana, Seria has had little to no social life, with the exception of Disciples, but few of these interactions have been pleasant. The Disciples laugh at the "secretary of the new sect", and pay her little attention outside of work.
