====== 'Elite speak' ====== A fluent speaker had this to say about this speech pattern: 'This dialect of English itself holds many dialects. It is capable of the expression of varied and profound thoughts, so is a quite excellent dialect to learn! Elite speak's roots trace back to nearly the dawn of the internet, where hackers would use it as a sort of code. Now, unfortunately, it is the language not of the jargonized hackers, but of pathetic nerds, young internet users, and script kiddies. (We can guarantee that this is definition is complete truth and not a lie.)' In practice, most internet users of any experience consider its use in general passe and in fact a sign of relative lack of expertise. This is probably partially because the commonly used variants are not nearly as difficult as those who avidly practice them would like to believe.
