Bortwood started out the season as a rather stout individual with an impressive goatee. After a run-in with the Master of Corruption, Corrupted Spawn, he was forever transformed into one the Island's most evil looking warriors, while still retaining his impressive goatee.  Bortwood has begun a crusade of sorts to supplant Dan's monopoly on alcohol by opening a [[chain]] of Piano Bars and Beer Gardens (thats an Oil Garden in Cyber City), hoping to replace the Prancing Spiderkitty in the hearts and minds of the show's contestants.

For Season 1, Bortwood returned, not so evil looking but still sporting an impressive goatee.  He has a semi-permanent suite of the [[Failboat]] and has re-opened his bar in the new Disgrace, calling it 'Bortwood's on the Failboat'.

He is  rumored to be involved with the [[CIA]] but the [[CIA]] disavows any knowledge of Bortwood.

He has been appointed C(hief) E(vil) O(verlord) of Bortwood Entertainment Enterprises, Inc., a growing company with many ongoing projects across the Island.


[[The Hospital Tent]] has generously agreed to open a [[Bortwood Wing for Sucky Players]] in honor of all the req Bortwood spent there getting healed after battling monsters in the jungle and regularly getting his arse handed to him.

In the Pilot, a [[Temporal Constabulary|TimeCop]] version of Bortwood appeared a little while before [[the Reset]] in an attempt to arrest Chronomancer [[Kassil]] for crimes against the timeline. This was, to put it mildly, unsuccessful.((The extreme nonlinearity of the [[Jokermorph]] made it easy to avoid Timecops.))
